We all talk about the importance of having a pre-shot routine to help with nerves and to get us into good habits. But having a post-shot routine can be equally as important to stop carrying the bad shots into the rest of the hole and remainder of the round.
Leading coach Dan Whittaker takes us through how to build a post-shot routine into our games.
What will you learn?
1. What do you do after a good shot?
2. What do you do after a bad shot?
3. Don’t respond to the bad ones
4. Develop a post-shot routine for every shot
5. Remember the good ones
Dan is an elite coach whose aim is to find the root cause of the problem within a player's swing, using this as a catalyst to address all other faults that exist as a result. Goal setting is key to long- term success and creating a unique route map to fit the individual's needs, wants and desires is vital. Finding the root cause, and setting goals, allows a player to make the necessary changes and to take ownership of their swing.
