I qualified as a PGA Professional in 2023 and I am based at my home course at Greencastle Golf Club. I am married to John and we have 3 beautiful children - Faye, Callum and Tom, all of whom share my love and enthusiasm for sport including golf! My journey with golf commenced at the age of 12, participating in the Tuesday league at my home course, which continues to thrive during the summer months. Over the years, golf has played a pivotal role in shaping my life, contributing to personal development, forming enduring friendships, facilitating travel, overcoming challenges, achieving representative honours, securing All Ireland medals, and much more. Echoing the sentiments of Annika Sorenstam, one of the best female professionals in history, 'life and golf relate: the patience, the integrity, the dedication, the focus - I wouldn't have these strengths if it wasn't for golf'. As a PGA Professional, my mission is to inspire, teach and nurture the younger generation through golf. I am equally devoted to increasing female participation in the sport and assisting members of our club and golf enthusiasts across the North West to enhance their skills of the game. My noteworthy achievements include captaining the St.Andrews University Golf Team, representing both Ireland and Ulster at senior and junior levels and contributing to the success of the Royal Portrush Golf Club Senior cup team. Notably I secured a gold medal in the British Universities Golf Championship in Castlerock in 2000. Believing in the adage that only perfect practice makes perfect, I offer personalised 1-1 coaching, group coaching, junior golf camps and ladies get-into-golf programmes.
