I am a fully qualified PGA Professional based at Marlborough Golf Club in Wiltshire. I turned professional in 2019 and got straight to work building my profile and reputation as a coach. I completed the PGA Foundation degree in 2023 and graduated that summer. In my 5 years coaching the game, I have worked with golfers of all ages and abilities, including hundreds of promising juniors, beginners, club golfers and elite amateurs. In that time I have given over a thousand lessons. Through this first-hand experience along with additional study, I have developed a deep knowledge of swing mechanics that help me to efficiently diagnose and fix any swing faults that a player might have. I believe strongly that in order to help a golfer get better, they must understand why the ball does what it does and how to implement changes to the swing or set up that combat their tendencies and big misses on the golf course. This is why I always seek to challenge the golfer to think critically about their own game, practice with a purpose and be able to understand the causes of mistakes. At Marlborough Golf Club, we have facilities that allow me to deliver a range of lessons to suit all players needs. Our outdoor facilities include a driving range, short game area with bunkers and a putting green. In 2024 we opened a state-of-the-art indoor swing studio, which utilises the Foresight Falcon launch monitor. For golfers wanting that extra level of data analysis, the studio ticks all the boxes.
