Huw is a graduate of both the PGA & The Tournament Golf College. Huw's 9 years of coaching began at Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club in South Wales, where he completed his training and started his coaching business whilst earning awards from the PGA as outstanding Professional in the South West of the UK and The Golf foundation for his roles in the junior golf program. During his time at Pyle he was involved with both Glamorgan County & Wales Golf. His most recent role was at the world renowned Montgomerie Golf Club Dubai as a PGA Coach whilst also maintaining some work here back in the UK, he was the lead coach for the Welsh Men's national team at the 2022 Home internationals at Ballyliffin Golf Club. Huw's approach to coaching looks at all aspects of the game from the details of the swing biomechanics to simple things such as how to practice better! With qualifications from trackman, biomechanics, psychology, strength and conditioning and a certified WedgeMatrix instructor Huw will look at your game as a whole to help identify which part of your game needs to improve for you to start shooting lower scores and how to do it! Huw prides himself on being adaptable depending on the individual that is in front of him. Alongside his coaching, Huw is still a keen golfer and continues to compete and work at his game, this gives him the perspective of the golfer looking for improvements and all the highs and lows that come with it, allowing his to deliver sessions in a constructive, relatable and enjoyable way.
