I am the PGA Director of Golf, Head PGA Professional and Head Teaching Professional at Elsham Golf Club, Lincolnshire. I am also a newly designated PGA Fellow Professional.
I have over 15 years teaching experience and pride myself on a holistic approach to coaching. In 2018 I was part of the National Award-winning team for work with Junior Golf - The Laddie Lucas Award, presented at Wentworth Golf Club.
Since beginning my coaching journey, I have looked to broaden my golfing knowledge by furthering my studies in Golf Psychology, which has become central to my coaching and very much part of my coaching philosophy. In 2022 I completed both the SuperGolfer54 and SuperCoach54 qualifications, becoming one of the only teachers in the Region who is Vision54 certified. These coaching programmes focus on developing the player's mind as well as their technique for elite performance.
Recently, I have experienced a great deal of success as a coach with both individuals and with a team, helping Elsham achieve two National Finals in the same year. I am coach to the 2021 Lincolnshire Open Champion and winner of the 2023 Danny Willet Salver, Callum Bruce. I am also coach to 2020 and 2022 Lincolnshire Amateur Champion, Adam Barnard. In 2022 I was appointed as one of the Lead Performance Coaches for the LGGS (Lincolnshire Girls Golf Squad) and now work closely with the LWGA and their elite golfers. In 2023 I have recently been awarded the honours of PGA in Lincolnshire Coach of the Year and Midland Region Coach of the Year.
