What to Expect
- We’ll start by discussing what you’re looking to get out of lessons
- You can bring your own clubs or borrow some for the lesson
- We’ll take a look at your current swing, even if you’ve never swung a club before, and discuss what could be worked on
- We’ll go through practice routines you can do at home between lessons
- We’ll create a plan for the next few lessons
About Michael
I am the founder and head coach of the Michael O?Connor Golf Academy at The Lambourne Club, Burnham, Bucks. I coach golfers of all ages and abilities with a huge passion to help them improve and enjoy golf. I specialise in junior coaching and run weekly group lessons for children every Saturday and teach weekly at 4 local schools, I also teach many children individually too and most weeks will teach approximately 150 children. I have over 20 years experience of teaching children which I use to great effect to help the children enjoy golf in a safe and fun environment. I teach many adults too and tailor my coaching to the individual, if required I use state of the art Trackman launch monitor, NLP techniques for the anxious golfer, many short game aids and high resolution video camera. I organise and run overseas coaching trips every year which are great fun and very popular, especially in the English winter when all us golfers want is some sun on our backs when we?re playing! I speak French, Spanish and Italian which is useful on many of these trips! I am a member of the PGA Rules Panel so am able to help with any rules queries you have!
