PGA Professional Golfer. Having started golf at a young age I managed to reach a scratch handicap by the age of 15. I represented England as an Amateur and took up a Scholarship in the US at the University of Nevada, Reno. I played number one in my University Team and qualified for the NCAA finals as an individual, one of only 6 players in the Country. I then turned Professional and gained my Canadian Tour Card having finished 4th at the Tour School, age 22. I competed on the Tour for several years achieving many top 10 finishes. Having left life on Tour I trained as a PGA Professional and became fully qualified in 2001. In 2007 I became a Head Professional and in 2010 was promoted to Director of Golf. My passion has always been coaching. Even in College I spent more time on the range helping my teammates than working on my own game. I have spent 35 years studying the Golf Swing and the game of Golf. Enjoying all sports and fitness my approach to the Golf Swing is based on Athleticism. Understanding that the basics are literally all that counts. Fundamentals such as Posture, Balance and an Efficient use of the Body is the key to a successful Golf Swing. My instruction is always Simple and it is always backed up with a clear explanation of WHY my advice will help you to progress.
