Mark Sibley - Golf Lessons

I started playing golf at 12 years old and developed a passion for the game that gets stronger every day, I joined the PGA in 1992 and qualified in 1996 taking my first role at Luton Golf Centre, as Head Professional, I soon discovered a love for coaching the game and watching others develop and enjoy their golf, I moved to Spain in 2005 and took the position of Head Professional at the Miraflores Golf Academy, returning to the UK in 2011, I joined the team again at Luton Golf Centre and coached there until 2019 when I moved to Stockwood Park Golf Centre as Club Professional, I have always been pasionate about junior golf development beliving that 'todays Juniors are Tomorrows Golfers' and need all the support and encouragement we can provide to enjoy the game to its full, in 2024 I was pleased to be selected to coach the Bedfordshire County Under 12's at Stockwood Park Golf Centre, I continue to work with both juniors and adults at the club, running group clinics and individual lessons. My coaching philosophy is centred around creating a strong foundation and focusing on the fundamental principles of the swing. I believe that every golfer is unique and has their own style of play, so I work with each individual to develop their own personal swing that works best for them. I also emphasise the mental aspect of the game, helping players to develop a positive and confident mindset on the course. In addition to coaching, I am an avid player myself. I believe that staying active in playing the game helps me to better understand the challenges that my students face and allows me to offer more valuable insights and advice. Aside from golf, I am a devoted family man and enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. I also have a love for traveling and have been fortunate enough to play on some of the most prestigious courses around the world. Golf truly is a global sport.
