Simon Page - Golf Lessons
I have been a teaching professional since 2000 and have found this part of my career to be extremely rewarding and fulfilling. My experience playing as a professional has equipped me with the expertise and knowledge required to become an effective coach. I am able to blend the knowledge of what is needed technically from a golf swing with the realities of what can be produced during the intense pressure of tournament conditions. I have built up a solid reputation in the local area for teaching a sound, simple and effective method which allows each player regardless of age or ability to have their core mechanics optimised so they can play to the best of their ability. Also, I'm renowned for my short game and possibly the most content imparting this knowledge to my pupils of every ability. I have extensive experience teaching all abilities, from beginners to scratch golfers, local professionals and a few tour players. I am proud to have built up a Junior Academy which continues introducing golf to the next generation. I use computer technology and analysis to help pupils to understand and relate to their own movements as well as allowing them to see how and why the top players are able to produce their best time after time under the Tournament Experience: I played full time as a tournament professional for around 10 years with success, winning over 35 events including the Kent Open and a Futures Tour Event. At one time I held over five course records. I played on British and European Challenge Tours as well as in South Africa, Asia and USA. For three years I was ranked number 1in Kent and played a number of times at European Tour School as well as caddying a numerous times on the European Challenge tour and all 4 rounds at the 2013 Open
