I am the General Manager and PGA Professional of Paultons Golf Centre and have 28 years of expereince in the the professional game. I have coached all levels of golfer from the complete beginner to European Tour players and achieved many great results over the years. My background is second to none, having been captain of the PGA in Kent, Vice Chairman and board member of the PGA in England (South), awarded PGA in England (South) PGA professional of the year and is an accredited Specialist (Fellow) PGA professional. Since turning Pro in 1995, I have working alongside and have been coached by the likes of David Whelan and Andrew Nicholson of the Leadbetter Academy and, more recently, Clive Tucker, coach to numerous European Tour players, including David Howell and Graeme McDowell. As a young pro growing up I was fortunate enough to compete on the European Challenge Tour and play in many national and regional PGA events picking numerous victories along the way. As a coach my key achievements are coaching a 5 handicap golfer to a plus handicap and along the way winning the County Championship and becoming a figure in the County Team. At the other end of the scale I have set up a beginners academy and coached over 60 golfers from complete beginners to club members over a period of 3 years. I believe in keeping the jargon simple and coach the person in front of me not a method, I pride myself in being able to assess the needs of a golfer and deliver the improvements the client is looking for.
